Hi, I’m Jamie.

I LOVE food - cooking, growing, and eating it - but in my work as a Dietitian I see how easily  food becomes a source of confusion, shame and frustration. Whether this stems from internal or external pressures to make dietary changes for weight loss or to improve health, a lack of time or energy due to the demands of modern life, or any of the myriad legitimate reasons, I am here to help you sort through the noise. With your health goals and individual needs guiding us, we will build incremental habits that prioritize, balance, enjoyment, and kindness to yourself.

I embrace body diversity and practice within a Health at Every Size framework. This means I believe you can be healthy at any size without restrictive, fad dieting. I believe there are other approaches to eating that are kinder, gentler and don’t come at the expense of health or your relationship with food and body.

For the past decade I have worked as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), supporting both pediatric and adult clients. My specialization as a CDCES, allows me to use food, technology and medication to help clients self-manage their Diabetes, while building tools to navigate the challenges and stigma that accompany living with Diabetes. Beyond Diabetes, I am passionate about GI health, intuitive eating, and helping clients better understand the role of food sensitivities and intolerances in symptoms.

Whether you are seeking an alternative path towards Diabetes self-management, are hoping to improve your quality of life through symptom reduction, or just know you want a change but don’t know where to start, I am here to support you!
